Bereavement Ministry

Starting September 1, 2021, our Parishes will now have a strong dedicated team of volunteers working to support the Bereaved in all of our Churches.  
Four teams, one for each parish, have spent much time and effort to prepare for this new role. Each team consists of a team coordinator and team members.  Below you see their faces. 
These wonderful volunteers will actively connect with families as they work through feelings of loss, anxiety, turmoil, guilt and many other emotions.

Yearly we hold a Mass of Remembrance, held on All Souls day, November 2nd.  Each year all families who experience a Funeral Mass through our parishes are invited to join in this Mass.

Additionally,  six week education sessions are offered for any bereaved person who wishes to participate.  If interested, you may call the office  519-631-3640
